You’re doing your best to keep up with everything life is asking of you, but then you realize that somewhere along the way you’ve started to feel disconnected from yourself. Maybe you are adjusting to motherhood and wondering why this season feels harder, heavier or lonelier than you expected. Maybe you’re a college-aged woman feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, uncertainty, pressure to “have it all figured out,” or questioning who you are and where you are headed. On the outside it may look like you are managing well, but internally you may feel exhausted and unsure how to move forward. You don't have to navigate this alone!

"Growth occurs when individuals confront problems, struggle to master them, and through that struggle develop new aspects of their skills, capacities, views about life." -Carl Rogers. People seek therapy for many reasons. For instance, you may be looking for a place to process stressful events or address relationship problems. You may be yearning to interrupt your unhelpful patterns and ways of getting stuck, in order to find a life forward direction. Therapy is your time to focus on yourself and it is my goal to accompany you on your journey to growth in the most helpful and constructive way possible.

Hello! I'm Lynda, a Psychiatric NP specializing in therapy for ages 12+. I was drawn to the field of behavioral health because I wanted to teach others how to overcome obstacles, achieve goals, and make sustainable changes. Many people, including myself, have read self-improvement books, watched motivational videos, and journal their hearts out, but continually find it difficult to achieve goals. While these resources are helpful for showing us what is possible, they rarely teach us HOW it is possible. A vital piece of treatment is education and teaching the client how to be their own coach/therapist.

Pete has more than 15 years of experience as a teacher and counselor. Pete approaches his work from a systems perspective and his areas of interest include working with adolescents, individuals and families struggling with addiction, and couples. He also works with individuals of all ages to help them explore their beliefs and how those beliefs affect their present selves. Regardless of the root of symptoms, exploring how we think about ourselves and the world around us and working to replace the behaviors and beliefs that no longer serve us often help us get unstuck and move forward to achieving our goals.
