I think the ideal client is someone who is motivated to change. I am a practitioner of positive psychology and believe that every person has tremendous resources and just needs to discover these gifts. I think the Psychologist must build upon assets and strengths. I think that humans can build pyramids or travel to the moon when given the right encouragement and belief.

I believe that human suffering happens when the way we live our lives falls out of alignment with our internal compass. We are inherently driven to self-actualize and become the best version possible of ourselves; however, the reality is that we live in a very complex world that often steers us away from what we value. We often fall into this trap and begin to chase what society deems valuable, while being convinced that it's our true calling. This behavioral pattern is often piloted by our anxieties and relational trauma, which is what I am most fluent in, as a fellow human first, and a therapist second.

I have over 16 years of experience in the mental health field. When you make the first step in finding a therapist for the first time, or have tried therapy in the past, it can be overwhelming and stressful. Therapy is a place to bring all the mental stressors and worries, to begin to work through them and find ways to help you be the version of yourself you want to be. If you want to stop feelings down, anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed therapy is a good place to start. I have worked with many people to help achieve an inner calm and peace they desire to have.

I enjoy working with individuals in their early-mid-later adulthood who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, past trauma, or the weight of ongoing life stressors. They may be navigating the complexities of chronic illness or disability, and they're looking for a space where they can feel understood without judgment. They want tools to manage their emotions, improve their relationships, and feel more in control of their life. Ultimately, they’re seeking clarity, healing, and a stronger sense of self—and they’re ready to take the first step toward meaningful change.

I’m going to start out by saying I have no idea what to put here because my focus is on the work I do with my clients. However, similarly to how I’m approaching this process of writing about myself, is how I approach clients and the therapeutic process- like a blank slate. Taken from my own therapy experiences; I value connecting with people, meeting them where they are, and supporting them with where they want to go. To me, these are the necessary ingredients to make a recipe for therapy successful.
