Hey I'm Jenna. I specialize in trauma and I am ready to help you get some relief from your trauma symptoms. Rather than treating symptoms, I look to treat the root cause and facilitate healing that so that symptoms are no longer present. I provide in person sessions so there is a comfortable space for you to process. I have experience with men and women of all ages and if you're ready, I'm ready. I don't believe that therapy has to have a stuffy feel, I encourage you to allow your personality to come through as we work together to get you where you want to be.

I work best with clients who are curious about their inner world and the ways past experiences live in the body and mind. You may be managing trauma, anxiety, grief, or anger, and want to move from feeling stuck to feeling whole. Together, we’ll explore each of these stories and experiences, and help you move toward balance, compassion, and lasting change. I also work with couples, drawing on my marriage and family therapy background to help partners see how inner patterns and shared dynamics shape their relationship. Together, we’ll build awareness, communication, and a more connected way of relating in support of your goals.

With over 20 years of experience as a therapist, I have developed a number of skills to help my clients work through some of life's challenges. I work to meet my clients where they are while offering skills, insights, and support to help them achieve their goals. I have appreciated knowing how the brain works and that we can choose, if we wish, to modify approaches to experience different outcomes. When we are in our darkest moments, it can be reassuring to know you have someone there to support you through it. It always amazes me how we can find lighter moments of laughter when it seemed impossible only an hour before.

I feel I am a different kind of counselor, because there is not a sense of separation between client and counselor. Clients are often impressed with how quickly times goes in session, they explain, "it's like talking to a good friend", "you make me feel so comfortable and not judged". We still get the work done just as effectively, but prepare to feel more relaxed....our offices are homey and comfortable. We kick our feet up on a coffee table, and chat in a way that allows people to feel more like talking to a friend than a stranger.
