At Pure Transcendence Healing, I work with individuals who are seeking deeper healing, clarity, and transformation in their lives. Many of my clients feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, stuck in repeating patterns, navigating anxiety or major life transitions, or searching for a greater sense of purpose and inner peace. I also support those who are spiritually curious and drawn toward holistic approaches to healing and personal growth. Clients often come to me when they are ready to move beyond surface-level coping and begin understanding the deeper root of what they are experiencing.

You may feel mentally overloaded, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns you can’t think your way out of. Your mind won’t shut off, your nervous system stays on high alert, and insight alone hasn’t brought relief. Many people reach out because they want to feel like themselves again—or discover what genuine aliveness and well-being can feel like for the first time—through a deeper, non-medication-based approach that addresses what’s happening beneath the surface.

Are you seeking a path of fulfillment personally and in your relationships? Engaging in a rich and meaningful life requires knowing ourselves deeply and acting on intentional choices guided by our core values, feelings, and desires. Our relationships can become more intimate as we develop clarity about our needs and courage to be vulnerable with those we trust to meet us on this level. When we have experienced trauma, pelvic pain, or challenging relationships, we need space to heal. I support clients in deepening their capacity for presence, emotional intimacy, and pleasure through mindfulness, self-compassion, and self-acceptance.

I don't believe you're broken, even if you are suffering. You are already whole, and much of our suffering comes from losing sight of that wholeness, that unbroken light within ourselves. The goal is not to help you conform better to a failing system or function better on the surface while still feeling empty or lost inside; the goal is to help you find the root of what is happening for you, and locate the inner spiral that is the pathway out of suffering and into self-knowledge, maturity, and self-compassion.

Immediate availability! Do you find yourself stuck, or struggling somehow?  I believe that people are doing the best they can, with the experiences and knowledge that they have.  Sometimes, however, life throws so much at you that it overwhelms your ability to cope, and you might find yourself on a website like this one, saying, "maybe I need a therapist?"  Whether you know exactly what's wrong (like a challenging relationship or a toxic job, or a traumatic experience), or you just have a sense that this life somehow isn't what you had in mind (worried, sad, or unfulfilled), then therapy can help.

Women's Issues Therapists
How do you encourage a woman to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual may be suffering, and what effects it has on them, should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can women prepare for therapy?
Women can prepare for therapy by being willing to talk about their past experiences and their private thoughts. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. Between sessions, it can be useful to write down notes about their reaction to a given event or how they felt at a particular time.

How long does therapy for women’s issues often last?
As with any type of therapy, sessions depend on the individual and the challenges they face. Therapy types like Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Prolonged exposure therapy (PET), and Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. In some cases, such as for women with eating disorders, residential treatment may be recommended for an individual who is judged to be at high risk of self-harm. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.

How can women overcome stigma around specific challenges in order to seek therapy?
Women dealing with domestic abuse, sexual assault, eating disorders, and any other number of troubles may feel a stigma around seeking help. It’s important to remember that these issues are not uncommon and there is no shame in getting help for them. Therapy is confidential, and women can talk about their experiences without fear of judgment. Seeking therapy can be a courageous and liberating act, and an important step toward healing and recovery.
