As a neurodiversity affirming therapist, I validate the unique way your brain is wired, and seek to understand rather than pathologize. Understanding how and why your brain works helps you advocate for yourself and identify what skills and life changes will help you feel more comfortable. Finding meaning and fulfillment in life despite when challenges come your way is the goal! I provide telehealth and outdoor-based individual therapy for teens and adults, aged 12+, with a focus on ADHD, Autism, LGBTQ+ issues, gender-affirming care, and caregiver support.

My work draws from CBT, ACT, EFT-informed couples therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.
Many couples come to therapy feeling stuck in painful cycles of conflict or growing distance. I help partners slow these cycles so both people can feel heard and understand what’s happening between them. It’s common for one partner to feel more ready than the other. My role is not to take sides, but to help both understand the pattern between them. I also work with individuals navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, trauma and questions about direction or meaning. Together, we look beneath the surface and find a clearer way forward that feels manageable and grounded.

No matter what you're seeking help for, you can always expect my approach to be rooted in compassion and acceptance.
As a client, therapy is your time to show up for you. As your therapist, I will show up with you and offer unconditional support to drive the change you want to see in yourself. Sessions with me are relational, collaborative, and might even include a little humor. I'll show up as me so you can show up as you—we're just humans, after all. :)

My clients are adults adults seeking a neuoaffirmative therapist to help them understand themselves and their experiences & adults seeking testing for ADHD or autism. Maybe a family member was recently diagnosed, you've been given diagnoses that don't make sense, or you're tired of being told your struggles are "all in your head," that you just need to "try harder" or "stop being so lazy." Maybe you found neurodivergent social media and finally feel understood. I believe you when you say you feel different. Together we can work to discover the "why" behind those feelings. The why that can give you the freedom to rewrite your story.

If you're someone who's always putting others first through listening, helping, and achieving, you may rarely pause to care for yourself. Therapy can feel unfamiliar, or intimidating, but it can also be a space to finally slow down, reflect, and give yourself the attention you've been saving for everyone else. Whether you are starting or finishing college, figuring out a career path, managing independence, navigating life changes, or redefining relationships and identity, you won’t have to face it alone.

Therapy for couples and individuals with anxiety in MA and NH. Your relationship is on the rocks. One of you feels alone and misunderstood, the other just wants the fighting to stop. You’ve tried so much to change this relationship and nothing is working. You try to bring up things to your partner in a neutral way but it inevitably spirals into a conflict and before you know it you’re back in that same awful place of disconnection that seems to happen over and over again without resolution. You’re told you’re being too critical, too defensive, not listening enough. You feel like you are constantly walking on eggshells.

I draw from evidence-based methods like CBT and ACT, always tailoring sessions to each client’s needs and goals.
My ideal client is a teen or young adult who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or misunderstood. They may struggle with anxiety, overthinking, low self-esteem, or setting boundaries. Many are navigating big changes—graduation, relationships, identity—and want support that feels real and nonjudgmental. They’re not looking to be “fixed”—they want to feel understood, build confidence, and gain tools to manage life more effectively.

Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapists
How does acceptance and commitment therapy work?
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages a person to listen to their self-talk. A person’s inner dialog can be indicative of how they treat themselves. ACT also encourages self-compassion; this can lead to a better understanding of negative thought patterns and emotional states. This understanding can then lead the individual to needed behavior change.

What are the goals of acceptance and commitment therapy?
The goal of acceptance and commitment is to expand a person’s psychological flexibility, a trait that encourages an individual to live in the present moment and to accept all their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, even ones that are difficult such as sadness and anxiety. In ACT, this acceptance is congruent with the individual’s values and beliefs.

Does acceptance and commitment therapy work for depression?
Acceptance and commitment therapy is effective for depression because it allows the individual to view their discomfort and suffering differently. Depressive feelings about relationship heartaches, for example, are a part of life. A despondent person learns to let go of their struggles and instead view their painful thoughts and feelings with compassion. This will lead the individual toward positive change.

How long are people typically in acceptance and commitment therapy?
A typical acceptance and commitment therapy session is 50 minutes long with one session per week. Treatment for common problems such as anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties can last between eight weeks to four months. However, more severe cases may require more than one session a week and/or a longer time frame for treatment.
