Unique to this practice, Dr. Seichepine provides confidential neuropsychological evaluations in your home. In-home assessments are performed throughout most of New Hampshire, ranging from Laconia in the north to the Massachusetts border in the south and from Peterborough in the west to the seacoast. Testing is performed for a variety of brain conditions, such as ADHD, Alzheimer's disease and Epilepsy.

Dr. Van Santen conducts comprehensive evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults that include a variety of components that are found in psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and psychological evaluations. Evaluations can be used to identify Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ages 16 and older), Learning Disabilities such as reading disorders (e.g., dyslexia), writing disorders (e.g., dysgraphia), and math disorders (e.g., dyscalculia). After a comprehensive evaluation has been completed, Dr. Van Santen can also provide Diagnostic Teaching (DT).

I specialize in substance abuse evaluations for the courts, for substance-related motor vehicle violations such as OUI and Immediate Threat, and for the US Department of Transportation as a Substance Abuse Professional. I am an expert witness and provide testimony on sentence mitigation issues. My ideal client is someone with substance abuse and other addiction issues seeking treatment and/or evaluation.

My role is to clarify diagnoses and guide support in therapy, in school, in the workplace, and in the family. I utilize a variety of assessment tools which provide data regarding diagnosis of psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and other issues impacting individuals’ optimal functioning. This includes evaluation of individuals across the lifespan, from early childhood through all stages of adulthood. As part of the process, I also work closely with clients and family members to ensure a clear understanding of the data and application of the recommendations.

Neuropsychological testing aims to evaluate cognitive and emotional functioning, provide appropriate diagnoses, and most importantly, to provide recommendations for further treatment. I believe strongly in helping individuals better understand themselves through identifying their strengths and providing them with individualized treatment recommendations based on their unique needs.
