My name is Neylin (pronounced: Naylean) Ramos and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Arlington, Virginia working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and couples to improve communication and deepen understanding by helping them actively listen and identify underlying issues. My approach centers on creating a safe space where clients can explore their emotions, learn to communicate in ways that align with each other's unique perspectives regain self-control, and develop interpersonal skills.
I use solution-focused therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and the Gottman Method. By focusing on problem identification, I help clients find relief and develop healthier, more effective ways of relating to themselves and others.
I work primarily with young adults, adults, and couples experiencing relationship challenges that impact their daily lives. My clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed by issues that may lead to divorce or uncertainty in their relationships.
