This viewpoint speaks to a phrase I've developed that also guides my life, "Our perspective on issues coming our way will determine if we live an adventurous or miserable life."
Since immigrating to the USA in 2010, I have dedicated 8 years to working in the mental health field, assisting various populations facing mental health challenges. My Master's thesis focused on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). I also work with the Ukrainian refugees that have been displaced from the war.
I am a single parent, I know parenting on your own is hard work. I would like to open a discussion to help other single parents navigate the issues specific to this role. Another area I have done extensive work is with individuals experiencing burn-out or just struggling with the anxieties of day to day life.
