My name is Chelsea, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I believe people heal and grow when they feel safe, supported, and truly seen. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where healing and self-discovery can unfold at your own pace. My mission is to help clients feel comfortable showing up as their full, authentic, and sometimes messy selves—without masking, shrinking, or apologizing.

I have worked in school settings and in psychiatric inpatient facilities, treating individuals struggling with a variety of issues ranging from stress, anger management, anxiety, depression and mood disorders. Most of my pre-private practice experience has been at a partial hospitalization program incorporated as a step-down program from psychiatric hospitalizations.

I work with clients of all ages, in all stages of life. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) here in my home state of New Mexico. I have over 65 hours of specialized training in play therapy and am currently pursuing certification as a registered play therapist. I am trained in EMDR and Brainspotting to provide comprehensive trauma-informed care.
