I have been in clinical practice for 46 years. I specialize in coaching clients to resolve the binding issues in their family of origin that are creating the range of psychological problems in their every day life. I work with individuals, couples and families to increase their potential for happiness. I also do supervision for those therapists who wish to improve their clinical skills. In addition, I do executive coaching, organizational consulting and psychological testing of children.
I address human emotional functioning from the multigenerational systems perspective. developed by Murray Bowen, M.D. I see psychological issues as emerging from, and being maintained by the family system in which one holds membership. I never cease to be amazed at the Profound changes clients can make to improve their lives using this method.
As a clinician who sees human emotional functioning from a systems perspective, the possible applications are very diverse. It could be an individual working to differentiate a self from extended family emotional processes that are limiting their life, or an organization that is failing because the system hierarchy is not being maintained.
