I am a dedicated, licensed clinical social worker with over 28 years of experience. My objective is to help you create solutions to your challenges.

I use mindfulness, energy psychology, EFT, to relieve stress, heal trauma, anxiety, relationships. We work collaboratively, listening to conflicting parts and needs, discovering how to integrate these parts to fulfill your unique potential, talents, and power, learning to recognize and transform blocks to their fulfillment. With those who wish to explore spiritual aspects, we look at the meaning of experience, including mindfulness meditation, teachings from all religions, radical acceptance, emotional intelligence. We work on many levels, from practical decision making; connecting past and present issues; symptom abatement and coping skills, goal setting; to a spiritual search for the authentic self and its means of expression.

I am a native New Yorker with over 29 years of continuous abstinence. I started my addiction treatment company in 2010 so that I can help others find their way to recovery. I am a board certified Addiction Medicine Specialist Physican who would like to help you navigate your substance use issues. I view addiction as an extremely common treatable disease, not as some sort of moral failing, weak will, or lack of intelligence. My goal is to help you stop using the substance or substances that are ruining your life, and to recover both your self-respect and the respect of others.

My lens in psychotherapy is informed by the principle of organicity; that every person has within them tremendous wisdom and the ability to heal.
