Hi, I Specialize in Neurodivergent Affirming Therapy! Navigating life in a way society deems acceptable is not only difficult, but draining. Adjusting your lifestyle to reflect what others think is right can keep the peace but at the expense of yourself. Add on neurodiversity, like ADHD or autism, and life can feel even trickier. It can feel like you’re the only person without the cheat codes to life. Maybe you struggle with executive functioning skills like organization and time management, or feel overwhelmed by tasks like grocery shopping. Life in general just seems to take more out of you than it does others.

I have a warm, relational style. Although together we will explore influences from the past, we will address your concerns and find solutions to real life problems that you are experiencing now. Research indicates that healing in therapy is connected to the relationship with client/ therapist. I create a safe and warm environment so you will be able to freely explore your thoughts and feelings. An exploration of what aspects of self and life that can be changed and ones that we can develop acceptance with if we cannot change them. I love my work and enjoy supporting others. My practice is rooted in diversity and inclusion

Many people come to therapy carrying the weight of anxiety, past trauma, low self-esteem, or patterns that feel hard to break—even when they want things to change. Whether working with individuals or couples, I offer a supportive, trauma-informed space where you can feel safe, seen, and understood. Together, we explore how past experiences may be shaping current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, using cognitive behavioral tools to help challenge unhelpful patterns and build healthier ones. The goal is to foster resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and create more fulfilling relationships—with yourself and with others.

How can we find more meaningful paths forward? With curiosity and care, we can explore this question (and others!) together. I’ll guide us through whatever is coming up right now–whether it’s a general sense of "stuckness," difficult life transitions, or identity exploration. We'll create a therapeutic space for you to gain deeper insight into yourself and your relationships, consider how the past may impact the present, and how to invite change. Using a holistic framework, we'll draw from relational psychodynamic therapies, utilize tools from CBT/DBT, or trauma therapies like EMDR.

The divide between what we hope for in our closest relationships, and what we experience, can be wide. If our hopes for ourselves and those we love most could carry us through, there would be no need for couples/family therapy. But the demands of daily life conspire with old fears; with gaps in relationship modeling in our growing-up years; and with life events beyond our control to increase tensions, and undermine communication and connection. Judgment and anger do not have to crowd out collaboration towards mutual goals. Choosing couples/family therapy is a step away from isolation and towards the life your family envisions.
