Dani is a dedicated and compassionate therapist, specializing in perinatal mental health, women's issues, and trauma. She is also a certified yoga instructor trained in hatha, prenatal, postpartum yoga, meditation and breathwork. Her treatment approach is collaborative, developmental, holistic, somatic, and mindfulness-based. When working with the perinatal community, she uses a developmental transition-to-motherhood framework (Matrescence) to facilitate education, understanding, and healing.
Believing in the importance of addressing the whole person, Dani integrates discussions about feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and, where appropriate, spiritual connections into therapy. She believes that each person is the expert on themselves and holds everything they need to heal, but sometimes need the help of others to facilitate growth and evolution.
Dani acknowledges the uniqueness of each client, tailoring her approach to fit the individual needs while deeply valuing the collaborative partnership with clients to support acheiving their therapy goals and decisions.
