Welcome. I provide therapy services to children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Much of my clinical experience is with youth who struggle with psychiatric concerns such as depression, anxiety, and mood disorders, as well as youth who have been victims of trauma and abuse. I also have extensive experience working with youth in the LGBTQ+ community. I aim to always provide empathy and non-judgmental support during periods of difficulty, change, and transition for youth and help them build the skills to be happy, healthy, and successful individuals with meaningful and fulfilling interpersonal relationships.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and work with adults, young adults/college students, teens, adolescents, and children in individual therapy. I work with a diversity of clients struggling with life transitions and adjustments, anxiety disorders (general, OCD, phobias, panic), depression, communication issues, trauma, grief and loss, sexuality and gender identity, educational or occupational difficulties, executive functioning, and parenting/caretaking. When working with young children I always work with their parents as well. I also offer school observations, for children ages 3-10, as needed for assessment and planning.

When people think of therapy they tend to imagine a scary place where they have to tap into themselves to open up to strangers. I became a therapist because I wanted to be that safe place for someone to feel comfortable opening up. Everyone has a story. Each person has the right to feel heard, not judged, safe, and understood. My goal is to help them reach that satisfaction in a safe non-judgmental zone.

Michelle Nirenberg is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Additionally, Michelle is a certified Trauma Counselor (TC) for adults, adolescents, and children. With over 16 years of experience also has a strong affinity for working with first responders and individuals who have either witnessed or experienced various forms of trauma.

Sometimes life throws obstacles at you that are out of your control, but that does not mean you cannot live your optimally healthy life. My name is Tysir Nixon I’m a licensed Social Worker in NJ with a focus on children and families. I love the beach, video games, and listening to hip-hop and R&B music. My goal is to provide a comfortable space for my clients to express themselves openly and freely with no judgments. My style of therapy is to be genuine and compassionate to use one’s strengths to make changes.
