I enjoy partnering with people as they make changes in their lives. I recently helped satisfied clients have significantly lowered depression levels, reduced panic attacks, let go of disturbing memories from childhood victimization, learn to successfully manage stressful work situations, speak up for themselves with families & friends, begin new romantic relationships, strengthen their partner relationships, and become more effective and loving parents, among many, many more exciting life ventures.
I use EMDR, and Coherence Therapy among other modalities. With large amounts of research behind it, EMDR can be quick and effective with longstanding as well as newer problems. I aim to help people release old reactions and build new skills for living after they've completed their healing work.
As an EMDRIA Certified clinician, I use EMDR successfully with clients to resolve syptoms stemming from traumatic experiences: panic, flashbacks, fear, difficulties with friendships, and other problems. I am experienced in working with gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals and their families. I am skilled in responding to rape, sexual assault, and domestic violence survivors.
