Life Processing Group for Young Adults
Young adults across the board have been majorly affected by COVID lockdown, social media, a difficult economy, and the changing academic, social, and professional landscapes caused by technology and politics. Many in Gen Z are more open to therapy than previous generations, but those in individual therapy are siloed into doing their social work on their own between sessions, where they work with their therapist on their interpersonal struggles. A group setting allows group members to actively work on communicating with others in real time, while providing a beneficial space to get support and reality-test relational situations with peers and the group facilitators. ?????
