About
It is said that the most important factor for growth and change in therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. My style as a clinician is warm and welcoming. My philosophy is to let the client show me what he/she needs, and to move slowly and mindfully in a spirit of partnership. I believe when I listen closely and carefully to what someone shares, they will tell me where it hurts, and together we discover how to transform the pain into a life of joy, peacefulness, and wellbeing. .
I have been a psychotherapist for over 25 years, and have learned much from the clients I have worked with. I may bring many expertise's into the room, but my clients have taught me what works best for them. My approach today centers around traditional client centered therapy, combined with DBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
My office is located in New Hope, PA, in a house that was built in 1850. The environment is warm and cozy, which hopefully sets the tone for a safe and secure space for a client to explore the most personal parts of themselves.
