Teletherapy counseling via phone. I enjoy working with professional adults and motivated older adolescents who are struggling with mental disorders and life challenges. I have been working in the mental health field for over 18 years. I specialize in treating ADHD , Anxiety, and Depression. I have the dual benefit of historically working in medical, hospital and institutional settings and approaching the practice of psychotherapy from a holistic perspective (mind, body and spirit). I especially enjoy approaching psychotherapy from a Cognitive Behavioral Perspective as well using mindfulness to assist patients who are struggling.

I meet each person at their unique place on life's journey to discover how they want to grow. My specialty is psychotherapy with young, middle-age and older adults. I work with problems and disorders such as loneliness, depression, bipolar, anxiety, insomnia, eating issues. I have skills working with people who have emotional problems and relationship conflict. Adult ADHD is a major focus of my practice.
"Liminality" refers to the middle stage of change, the threshhold between what was, and what is yet to be. It is when, and where, we are forced by circumstance or choice to leave behind what is familiar, and to journey into a place of uncertainty. It is a normal part of being human. I named my practice Liminal Therapy to honor the process of change and human resilience. My clients are adults (18+) and include people with ADHD and related anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, addictions, and issues related to the stressors of life stages and transitions. Diversity and multicultural wisdom traditions are welcome and appreciated.

Using evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I specialize in helping people with anxiety and related problems, including depression, stress, trauma, cancer survivorship, adult ADHD , chronic pain, insomnia, and behavioral medicine. If any of these are interfering with your efforts to achieve healthy goals, maximize your growth potential, and lead a happy, productive life, we could work together to help you identify the psychological and situational factors that are blocking you and teach you the necessary skills to more effectively manage or eliminate those factors. CBT is a very effective way to help you do this.

ADHD Therapists
Some children and adults with ADHD find it difficult to concentrate on tasks at school or work and may daydream frequently. Children with ADHD may become disruptive, defiant, or have trouble getting along with parents, peers, or teachers. Children who struggle with hyperactivity and impulsivity, in particular, often have behavioral challenges that can be difficult for adults to manage. Adults, on the other hand, may be more likely to report feeling restless or fidgety; if they struggle with impulsivity, they may make rash decisions that adversely affect their life. For both children and adults, executive functioning (planning, emotional regulation, and decision-making) is often affected as well. Many children and adults display either hyperactive or inattentive symptoms of ADHD, but it’s also possible for both sets of symptoms to exist together, in what is typically called combined type ADHD.

If you're looking for a New Hampshire ADHD therapist, these professionals provide ADHD therapy and counseling in New Hampshire.
