After some time we admitted defeat with the winters of New England and moved to Florida so my husband could follow his career as a US Marshal. I continue to love working with patients while enjoying time with my family, the beach, reading and exploring new places and cuisine. Dr. Jodi Samuels Shir is a Florida Licensed Psychologist and has over twenty-five years of experience in treating individuals, couples, and families for a variety of mental health issues. Dr. Shir received her Bachelors’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees graduating with the distinction of high honors from the University of Florida. She completed her internship at Nova Southeastern University with a specialization in child trauma and family violence. Since 1991, Dr. Shir has developed a focus on the treatment of emotional and behavioral problems of children and adolescents.
