I begin the collaboration with each person seeking my professional counsel by asking, "What is it you're not getting in your life that causes you pain?" Together, we explore the resources that will allow them to heal, change and grow. During the 30 years I have practiced psychotherapy, from a systemic or holistic perspective, I have assisted individuals, parents, couples, adolescents and caregivers to see and experience their lives differently.

Life is an incredibly beautiful journey, but it's not always easy. As a licensed professional and addiction counselor, my goal is to support you every step of the way and provide you with the support and guidance you deserve to reach your full potential. Even more, remind you that no matter what you may be facing, you have the innate power to overcome it.

I specialize in utilizing art therapy with individuals of all ages who are struggling with anxiety. When you are experiencing stress, overwhelm, grief, or times of change, it often affects every aspect of life. Art therapy is an engaging, collaborative form of therapy that combines traditional talk therapy approaches with the creative process. My adult clients often want to uncover new insights and explore themselves deeply to grow and heal, and my child and teenage clients are excited to use therapeutic art, writing, and play to process their experiences and learn new coping strategies.

I have established a private practice that is a warm, nonjudgemental, confidential, and culturally sensitive setting. In this comfortable environment you will feel safe to explore and resolve any issues that have become to challenging for you to resolve on your own. I am an experienced professional, licensed by the State of New Jersey. Depending on your needs I provide individual, marital/couples, and/or family counseling. My education and experience include psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and ego resolution, as well as spiritual counseling which make this a successful comprehensive service.

As a culturally competent therapist, I enjoy working with a diversity of clients facing challenges ranging from high functioning Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Divorce, Trauma, Self Esteem, Depression, and other life changes. My clients range from children as young as 6 to adults as young as their 50s, but not limited to. I enjoy an eclectic mix of modalities in addition to psychotherapy (talk therapy) ranging from play therapy, meditation, and mindfulness, dance movement therapy, ecotherapy, and art therapy. Every client is unique and I believe that the therapeutic experience should be as well.
