Services are designed to be brief and solution-focused in nature. The goal is to assist clients in identifying and mobilizing their own coping skills and natural supports as well as learning new skills and ways of dealing with their environment. The goal of treatment is not solution of problems, but rather the enhancement and development of skills to enable the client to engage in effective problem solving once out of the office.
Therapy is designed to help identify, resolve and create new healthy dynamics that benefit each member. The wellbeing of any individual is greatly affected by their environment. Services provides professional guidance where families learn to communicate and resolve conflict, and build upon existing strengths of each member and resolve challenges.
Families are encouraged to attend therapy as a unit where each member can express their particular concerns within a safe setting. Our qualified and experienced therapists guide each session to help identify core family dynamics while introducing new methods for effective communication and highlighting common goals and expectations.
