I love working with women to uncover their personal gifts and strengths so they can heal, grow, and make deeper connections. Mothering, mother-daughter dynamics, life transitions, sex/intimacy, bringing play back into your life, & relationships are women’s issues I enjoy working with. I also work with HSPs (highly sensitive persons), TCKs (third culture kids), cross-cultural workers, and professional athlete’s wives (and other career dominated marriages). I’ve always been drawn to growth and strength-based approaches, and I use the research-based and highly successful theories of Drs. John & Julie Gottman for couples counseling.
My life experiences include living and working with diverse cultures and populations, from homeless teens to the indigenous Güaymi in Costa Rica. These have deeply influenced my work with people. Before settling back in Texas I lived in 16 states and 5 countries. I’ve been married to my best friend for over 2 decades and we have 2 teenaged daughters.
