Change can be painful yet powerful when you are able to learn more about yourself and grow personally. I have 28 years experience in helping people to heal from grief & loss. I am a trained EMDR therapist, and have experience in many different areas: mood disorders, post-partum depression, anxiety and panic disorders, trauma, stress and anger management, childhood trauma, and adoption issues, as well as helping people cope with medical issues. Additionally, I am trained in IADC--this helps address the deep sadness of loss, with the possibility of experiencing a deeper connection and/or experience with the deceased.

Anxiety in particular can be powerful and confusing, especially when so much in the world is beyond our control. When the things we do in response to stress, grief, loss, and trauma become harmful, the light at the end of the tunnel becomes more distant. I believe in the power of every person to find the strength and ability to move through life’s challenges, and the value of recognizing what is ours to control and what is not. I encourage being careful, not fearful, and I will work with you to establish hope and faith in yourself and the world, while navigating the nuances of various mood and emotional issues.

Hi there, I’m Ms. Jen! I love to partner with families like yours to help children who may be struggling with issues commonly associated with ADHD, Autism, Sensory Processing Differences, PANS/PANDAS, mood disorders, and trauma. Parents, caregivers, and siblings are part of the therapeutic team and are supported and educated on how to go from chaos to connection using my playful, integrative approach. Using this approach takes some of the heaviness that can come from counseling away and build a sense of safety and connection within the team.

I have been working with individuals coping with grief, trauma and anxiety for 20 +years and recognize the difficulty the toll takes on the body and mind. I use a blend of biofeedback, EMDR, cognitive therapy and neurofeedback to alleviate symptoms and to build your strengths.
