At Neurofeedback Colorado Springs, we take a holistic approach to mental health care, and understand that life and individuals are complex. The relationship between therapist and client is the driving force for change; therefore, our number one goal is to build a strong and supportive alliance. We routinely use neurofeedback in combination with therapy to facilitate changes in the brain that allow a client to heal more quickly. Our clinicians welcome the opportunity to get to know you and walk with you on your journey to improved mental and overall health.

Neurobehavioral evaluations assess a individual's functioning in various domains including; intellectual, cognitive, academic, and emotional/behavioral functioning. Common reasons for an evaluation include attention problems, learning difficulties, autism-spectrum disorders, emotional/behavioral problems, neurological illness/injury (e.g.,traumatic brain injury, exposure to toxins, etc), an changes in the brain associated with PTSD.

Neurofeedback is a brain based approach to rehabilitation of the whole individual. It focuses on retraining and reconditioning brainwave patterns to maintain optimal-self regulation of the Central Nervous System (CNS). Neurofeedback improves mental performance, physiological stability and emotional control. For more information please visit www.eeginfo.com

More about this group

Acu-wellness/Guided Meditation

This class is a combination of mindfulness mediation and Acu-wellness utilizing the NADA protocol. NADA is ear acupuncture used as an adjunct treatment for addictions, stress, and trauma. Combining NADA with meditation, we can offer a non-verbal approach to trauma recovery for those who want access to guidance without engaging in one-on-one psychotherapy. NADA involves the gentle placement of 5 small, sterilized disposable acupuncture needles into specific sites on in each ear. Clients will sit/lay in a group setting for 45 minutes while being led in a guided meditation. We will offer this class beginning January 2019.
