The clients that tend to do best in my care are often neurodivergent or with diagnosed personality disorders due to how these conditions are chronically misunderstood. I specialize in facilitating clients’ self-growth by helping them create and carry out life changing goals. My approach is unique in that I offer both Counseling and Biofeedback services. Much of my work with clients revolves around the truth that we are all born perfect and worthy of love. For some of us, traumatic experiences may have taught us that closing off our heart is safer or creating defenses protects us from being hurt again. We may hold core beliefs about ourselves and the world such as: “I am worthless and unworthy of love”, “the world is not safe”, “people I love and care about will leave me”…and so on. I will guide you as you break free from the past, feel safe and calm, and begin to live fully in the present.

My ideal client would be someone who is willing to give therapy a chance. To explore various aspects of their life, who they are, and who they are wanting to become. My idea caseload would consist of a variety of issues, so as long as the client is wanting to be an active agent in their therapy then they would be my ideal. Their goals would consist of wanting to feel congruent with with their beliefs and how they are living their life. Whether that be reducing symptoms of depression, developing coping skills, improving communication, regaining their power, identity, and authenticity.

We all face challenges throughout our lives. My focus is on helping individuals see what anxiety is—it started out as a protective strategy. It saw its job as to make you aware of all possible problems before they even arise…and then it got out of control. You can learn how to handle your stress differently. Remember, it is how you handle a challenge that makes the experience a "grind" or a "growing experience".

I specialize in assisting my clients in the final resolution of trauma, developmental attachment disruptions; and significant disturbing events and abuse. I've designed an integrative method based on the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) to neuro-physiologically strengthen the body for trauma processing; Brainspotting and EMDR training to systematically and intuitively identify and process to resolution the major issues and deeply seated sources of negative beliefs and negative self image. CRM and Brainspotting, brain based therapies, evolved out of EMDR and are highly effective for a broad range of psychological trauma resolution, performance blocks, ADHD, complex PTSD, substance abuse, etc.

For the past 40 years I have had the privilege of walking beside a wide variety of good people whose lives just weren't adding up. It has been a blessing and encouragement to assist my clients in discovering their potential that has often been hidden under difficulties.
