Many of the challenges we face in adulthood are rooted in earlier experiences that shaped how we see ourselves and relate to others. Through empathy, deep listening, and careful exploration, we work toward insight that produces real, noticeable shifts in how you feel, how you relate, and how you move through the world. I work with adults and couples who feel weighed down by patterns they can't quite name, as well as those seeking deeper self-understanding and meaningful change. In a polarized world, I insist on nuance and complexity, and I bring that same commitment to the therapy room.
My approach is psychodynamic at its core, informed by mindfulness practices, family systems theory, and my background in cultural anthropology - which means I take seriously the broader contexts that shape a person's inner life.
I have particular experience with grief, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, immigration and relocation, and relationship concerns, including work with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples. I also offer mediation services; please reach out by email to inquire.
