Hi! I am a fully licensed professional counselor. I am also a woman, a mother, a partner and a person of color. I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field working with adolescents and adults. I am sensitive to, and work with millennials & Gen Z. As a millennial myself, I understand issues specific to what adolescents and young adults are going through. I also love to help people gain an understanding of their mental health issues ; as psychoeducation and proper tools are very important in the therapeutic process.
I specialize in a multitude of therapeutic approaches including person centered, humanistic and CBT. However, my true passion is narrative therapy. It is the premise that people create stories about themselves, and their identities which serve a vital purpose in functioning. I help create and re-author these narratives to help recover from trauma.
