I believe to fully understand another person and what they’re struggling with, we must understand their environment and lived experience. In therapy, we will explore how various systems and environments have impacted your lived experiences and in turn, how your experiences have shaped the way you think, feel, and act. I believe we must truly know ourselves in order to grow and thrive.
In therapy, I utilize an integrative approach combining psychodynamic, relational, relational-cultural theory, family-systems, person-centered, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I also utilize many tenants of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and attachment theory.
I currently work with adults navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, interpersonal relationships, attachment issues, self-esteem, boundary work, and identity development.
