Are you feeling lost, depressed, anxious or overwhelmed? I feel passionately that we all have an innate ability to heal and transform into a happier and healthier version of ourselves, but we can need help and support in that process. I use an AEDP approach to my work (accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy). In AEDP, feeling safe and secure in your relationship with your therapist is paramount and the foundation to my healing work with clients.
AEDP therapists look for glimmers of strength to connect with our "self at best" to heal trauma, hurt, anxiety and depression of our "self at worst." I work with my clients to illuminate and make sense of all the different aspects, or parts, of themselves that develop to protect them from painful emotions.
We will explore, discover and understand these parts of yourself, learn how to be a loving parent to them, and heal past and present pain and overwhelm. I seek to connect and amplify your innate strength, wisdom and confidence that are already there, and that we can sometimes miss on our own. I am excited to be part of your journey.
