I specialize in psychodynamic work with individuals and couples. I believe good therapy deals with both the emotions and the mind. People in my practice have told me that I offer a combination of both warmth and openness, as well as insight and skill, and so my approach tends to focus on helping others develop their own potential along these lines. I am a licensed psychoanalyst, but mine is not a one size fits all approach. On the contrary, I believe the treatment should be molded to accommodate the unique needs of the individual.
I have 35 years + experience. I am a graduate of the National Psychological Institute for Psychoanalysis where I currently serve as a Training Analyst, supervisor and instructor. I have worked extensively with Gay men and women and with people in the performing arts.
