Welcome. If you have come here, it is likely that your world has been either shaken or shattered by loss. Some of the individuals I work with have experiencing overwhelming heartache: through a relationship ending, the death of someone dear, coping with a chronic illness or struggle. Others may be grieving a life unlived or a path taken that was ill-advised. Whatever it is, the loss that has emerged is powerful & unsettling, & there is a level of suffering that feels relentless. I help individuals find inner strength & resourcefulness to open to their unique circumstances, & find ways to understand, disentangle, & integrate loss.
I am a counselor and interfaith chaplain specializing in grief, loss, and transition. I have worked with individuals in hospitals, hospice, schools, and private practice. I see this sacred work as a process of reclamation and redemption, an opening towards reshaping loss, and, with time, finding consolation, hope, resourcefulness, and integrity.
Loss and sorrow meets all of us in some form or another when experiencing significant change or transition. I provide radical listening & reverent attentiveness, & meet individuals where they are. Learn more by contacting me for a free 30-minute online session. An easy-to-print pdf overview of my practice is here: www.tiny.cc/overviewgl.
