In working as a therapist since 2008, my capacity to treat individuals includes working with children and adults. With that, I also provide specialty services for women of color as well as those who are seeking spiritually-based treatment. I typically work from a Psychodynamic theory that is relationally-based and solution-focused. The typical person coming to my office is seeking a better understanding of themselves as well as a hope of achieving short-term and long-term goals for self-betterment. I am committed to providing individualized support to each individual presenting to my office.
In working with children, it is necessary to work with caregivers as well. Support with be provided to the child, and coaching will be provided to the parent in hopes of providing support. For adults, solution-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the basis for treatment. If spiritual and/or scripture-based treatment is requested, it will be provided.
