About
I hold a space of hope, peace and non-judgement for clients to get in touch with all parts of who they are and to build their strongest, kindest and most compassionate selves. I find this allows clients to have the tools to alleviate suffering in themselves, their couples and families. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, And Experiential Therapy. I work with children, teenagers, adults, couples and families. I come alongside clients while they recognize their strengths, identify their values and work towards their goals. I believe therapy is sacred, hard work and can be fun and life changing.
I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, recovering from psychosis, substance use disorders, relationship challenges and transitions. I am a first generation Ethiopian-American, have lived abroad, and speak French. I celebrate people and how they identify themselves and strive to create a space of non-judgement, openness & with cultural humility.
