I work with individuals/couples on relationship and sexual issues. Sexual and emotional satisfaction is nearly inseparable for both men and women! The defensiveness that damages relationships is often the same behavior that controls vulnerability and intimacy in the bedroom. Simple awareness of learned beliefs or unhelpful fears can create the space a healthy couple needs to heal. Sex and emotional connection shouldn't wait on the backburner until life gives us a break - emotional and sexual expression should mirror life! I love children, and especially appreciate the opportunity to work with young children and their parents. I believe that when a child is struggling with some type of emotional or behavioral issue, it is important for them to have a safe place to discuss their concerns and feel that they have someone "on their side." My office is filled with toys and art projects to help any child feel safe and comfortable.

My focus is to come along side those who are hurting. I see each person as a miracle in the making. Focusing on the four dimensions of life - mental, physical, emotional and spiritual, I strive to help each client find balance. I desire to be a journey mate and problem solver. Using faith-based insight and a variety of effective counseling skills, I help my clients as they work to reach their full potential.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing a variety of mental health assessment and therapy services. I provide individual therapy for adults, and have particular expertise in areas of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, as well as chronic pain. I am a proponent of cognitive-behavioral therapy, and believe patients need to be willing to put in effort and work to improve. I also have specialized education and training which enables me to be proficient in conducting forensic psychological evaluations

My mission is to treat mental health diagnoses through personalized and compassionate counseling practices that promote growth, development and well-being to further enhance quality of life. I am qualified in assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention skills for many mental health disorders including; anxiety, depression, codependency, anger management, trauma, and substance use. I incorporate several therapeutic techniques during session to provide clients with; healthy coping skills, increased positive cognitive patterns, and behavior modifications.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in Nebraska and a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in Iowa. I have more than 15 years of experience working with and advocating for children, families and individuals impacted by abuse and neglect, divorce, attachment difficulties, foster care, children with problematic sexual behaviors, sexual abuse, and trauma. I have worked at various non-profit agencies in the Omaha area including Lutheran Family Services as an RSAFE therapist, Nebraska Medicine as a child and teen therapist and CHI Health in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
