I have experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families with various mental health and substance use diagnoses experiencing a variety of life changes and challenges.

Our work together will target past experiences, present life challenges, and steps towards your future life. I believe in giving the body its due and supporting you in gently bringing your mind and body back together. I believe that sometimes, we need to feel our way through difficult situations and emotions, rather than just thinking our way through hard times. I use an eclectic approach, including Brainspotting, EMDR, and Somatic Experiencing. I additionally offer sound healing.

Lexie finds strengths in working with teens and adults under age 35, those wishing to work on interpersonal relationships, people who identify as LGBTQ+, and individuals who are neuro-divergent. Lexie will help her clients identify patterns in their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In some cases, Lexie may help her clients uncover past traumas or underlying issues that may be contributing to current challenges. Lexie will encourage her clients to reflect on their experiences and explore the underlying emotions, beliefs, and meanings associated with their experiences.

I'm not going to lament to you about how hard life is; if you're here you know that. My clientele often have a history of working with many therapists, and not finding the help adequate. Whether it's Autistic Burnout, social exclusion due to neurodiversity, disabling symptoms of ADHD, or hitting a wall regarding improvement in therapy, I have a plan. Neurodiversity does not jive with homework, so I do not give any. You will be challenged, and given a plethora of psychoeducation; because it is so hard to fix something unless you know how it works.

The world is a mess. Sometimes it seems like everything is completely falling apart and none of us know how to handle it. We aren't all the same, so why should we be expected to heal the same way? I will work to meet you where you are at and support you in whatever way you find most beneficial.

I believe every person is deserving and capable of growth. My clinical experience lies in treating a variety of concerns, with particular focus and training in religious trauma & deconstruction, as well as eating disorder treatment. I'm passionate about working to heal the isolation, loss of community, loss of identity, depression, anxiety, guilt, shame, relational conflict, and many other forms of distress that often accompany these concerns. My goal is to give you the space to explore a new sense of self in a way that feels authentic and empowering.
