Life can be overwhelming, messy, and at times deeply painful. You might find yourself feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, weighed down by anxiety or sadness, or unsure how to move forward after a loss or major life change. Maybe you’re trying to understand yourself or your relationships better, or you’re simply exhausted from holding it all together. You may be hoping to make sense of your experiences, learn how to cope with difficult thoughts and feelings, and ultimately live a life that feels meaningful and authentic. Therapy offers a space to explore your experiences with support, curiosity, and compassion.

You’re not broken — you’re human, and you deserve support. Maybe you’ve been carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, or trauma for a long time. Or perhaps body-focused repetitive behaviors like hair pulling or skin picking feel like the only way to cope with overwhelming emotions. You might feel stuck in patterns that don’t serve you, exhausted from trying to hold it all together. Whether you're navigating personal struggles or facing challenges in your relationship, you want more than just survival — you want peace, connection, and a sense of wholeness.

I am most passionate about helping my clients recover and connect to their authentic self, helping them use that improved connection to heal and live more fully. Clients often need to find relief from fear, sadness, addiction, conflict, lostness. But lasting relief usually requires finding their true selves more fully. This may involve letting go of the anesthesia of addictions, overthinking and emotional disconnection, as well as shame and self-misunderstanding. Not everyone is ready or willing to do the deeper work that this requires, and that is ok. But as a therapist I am a better fit for those that are willing to try.

During times of stress and uncertainty, it may be difficult to get through the day, go to work, or be present with your loved ones. On top of that, these uncertain times can trigger anxiety, overwhelming emotions, and cause us to feel "stuck". Therapy provides an opportunity to find hope for the future, find joy and happiness, stability, and a sense of meaning or purpose in a rapidly changing world. I believe that everyone deserves a nonjudgmental, compassionate, and empathetic therapeutic experience.

Many of my clients have encountered life circumstances that have significantly impacted their emotional and physical well-being. As an experienced clinician with expertise in working with trauma and disordered eating patterns, I possess extensive experience supporting adult survivors of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, as well as those affected by domestic violence. Trauma frequently correlates with unhealthy relationships with food and body image. I support individuals facing these challenges by utilizing an intuitive approach to help them regain control over their eating habits and enhance their self-confidence.

Our mental health, like our physical health, requires care and attention. When we find ourselves experiencing thoughts, mood, or other mental health symptoms that interfere with our quality of life, therapy can be beneficial. It may provide us clarity, greater self-awareness, and help us cope in a manner that honors our values and who we are at our most true selves. I work with diverse clients of any faith or belief. My goal is to promote healing and improved resilience to successfully navigate difficult life transitions, LGBTQ+ concerns, complex trauma/PTSD, DID, grief, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and adapting to health issues.

The clients I work best with are – and stop me if you’ve heard this before -the people who want to be there. I am totally willing to build rapport and trust but would rather we not exhaust ourselves by trying to break down walls intended to keep me at arm’s length. I work hard at not wasting time because I know it’s important for clients to start feeling improvement as soon as possible. Therapy is hard work, where we will delve into vulnerable, personal topics that aren’t fun or easy. When clients want to be there and do the work, this is where I work best. Find more about me on my website listed to the side!

Life can have both unexpected and expected challenges. It is important for you to be able to find an individual with whom you connect, and that can assist you on your journey. I often like to think, that everyone is the author of their own story. Depending upon your previous and current experiences, your outlook may vary on what is in your control and what is not. I am here to tell you, that you can change the narrative in your story for your next chapter to feel rewarding and for it to be different.
