I practice an integrative approach that draws on trauma-focused therapy, Internal Family Systems, cognitive-behavioral therapy, somatic, and psychodynamic principles.
Healing is neither linear nor neat, and many truths can co-exist: you can become someone new while still mourning who you were; engage in inner work and continue to be triggered; make mistakes and still practice self-forgiveness; and make progress yet still have difficult days. Healing is not about becoming more palatable, acceptable, or loveable; it is about growing in the ways you were always meant to. I provide a safe space that welcomes you to feel hurt, angry, sad, confused- whatever serves you- to feel seen.

My ideal client is a high-achieving adult who is used to performing under pressure and holding it all together, but is starting to feel overwhelmed, burned out or stretched too thin. You may be navigating a demanding career, a relationship shift, or a major life transition. On the outside, things might look fine, but internally, you feel mentally exhausted, emotionally drained, or off balance. Many of the people I work with are capable and driven, but over time that constant pressure can lead to anxiety, burnout, and a sense that something is no longer working the way it used to.

When it helps, we can use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to notice and gently shift unhelpful thoughts, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to manage big feelings and reduce stress, and Internal Family Systems ( IFS) to understand the different “parts” of you, like an inner critic or protector, so they can work together instead of against you.
If worry, low mood, or big life changes have you feeling stuck, you don’t have to handle it alone. You’ll find a calm, judgment free space where we slow things down, make sense of what’s heavy, and practice simple tools you can use right away. I welcome all identities and life experiences, and we’ll go at your pace, especially if past hurt or trauma is part of your story.

EMDR Certified, IFS & Somatic practices.
You've built a life that looks successful from the outside. But internally, you may be navigating anxiety, relational strain, health challenges, or a quiet sense that you're not operating at the level you know you're capable of. Smart, driven people often find that success doesn't automatically translate into peace, connection, or fulfillment.

Some of the theories that I commonly will use are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems ( IFS), and dialectic behavior therapy (DBT).
It is my desire to be a light to those who feel that there is no hope for connection and intimacy. It can feel so lonely to struggle through sexual issues in a relationship, especially in a society that largely encourages silence when it comes to the bedroom. I would love to see you become inspired to wellness and hope as an individual or as a couple who is looking for change.

My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems ( IFS) and trauma-informed EMDR, two approaches that work especially well for women who have been performing competence and composure for a long time.
You've spent most of your life being the one who holds things together. The one who notices when something is wrong before anyone says it out loud. The one who steps in, manages, and keeps the peace, not because anyone formally asked, but because it felt necessary. Because someone had to. From the outside, this probably looks like capability. Groundedness. Maybe even strength. But on the inside, it often feels like a weight you didn't choose and can't quite put down. If this sounds familiar, you may be carrying what's sometimes called eldest daughter syndrome, a pattern of over-responsibility and self-sacrifice that develops early.

I’m a mental health therapist who is passionate about helping people heal, grow, and find new ways forward. Many of the people I work with come to me carrying the weight of past trauma or going through big life transitions, and my goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where they don’t have to go through it alone. I bring a variety of strategies into my practice including ACT, EMDR, and parts work. I also bring mindfulness strategies into our work. Mindfulness is about learning how to stay grounded in the present moment, which can make it easier to navigate stress, calm anxious thoughts, and feel more connected to yourself.

What is your why? Who are you when the noise of life gets quiet? When we set aside expectations, responsibilities, fear, and the roles you've spent years playing, what remains? I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, hurt, lost, or simply "empty". Some struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or relationship challenges. Others have achieved success but still feel unfulfilled. Together, we slow down, explore what lies beneath the surface, and create a path toward healing, clarity, deeper connection, and a more meaningful life.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.

How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.

Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.

How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
