My ideal client is part of the Latino community, seeking mental health care that respects their cultural and linguistic background. They face stigma and misconceptions about mental health, needing a space that values their story and identity. Their goal is to understand their mental health, learn coping strategies, and feel validated in their experiences.

I have seen the impact attachment wounding, trauma, abuse, and neglect can have on an individual. Some of these wounds can leave you feeling hopeless, but through careful treatment planning and therapeutic care, we can work together to repair and restore these areas in your life. Over the last two decades I have worked with children of all ages as well as their families in navigating life stressors, behavioral, educational concerns and many forms of trauma. I enjoy helping families to better communicate and understand one another as well as to be accepting of individualism and new boundary setting. I specialize in helping adolescents, and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, tough barriers/challenges to life and in trying to help them navigate through it all.

My ideal client is navigating the complex interplay between mental and physical health, seeking relief and understanding. They aspire to a balanced life, where emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being are in harmony. Their goal is to address not just symptoms, but the root causes of their distress, driven by a desire for comprehensive healing and a better quality of life.

I specialize in anxiety, OCD, and related disorders, to include body dysmorphia and body repetitious disorders, such as trichotillomania (hair pulling) and excoriation (skin picking). Regardless of your situation or circumstance, I believe we all have strengths within us that we can use to get back on our feet & to live our best lives. I have over twenty-five years of experience as a therapist and have extensive training in the treatment of dissociation, complex trauma and personality disorders.

I work primarily with children, adolescents, and their families. However, I additionally work across the age spectrum and throughout the adoption network with adoption-related issues. I see behaviors as communication of unmet needs. As a client-centered therapist, I work to learn where clients have unmet emotional needs, how their family can work to meet those needs, and what barriers there are to that process.

Hello there. I have a diverse clinical background and am here to help. I have worked for agencies who specialize in in-home therapy with children and their parents. I have worked with children of all ages and am passionate about helping young people and their parents navigate their challenges. Navigate their difficult journeys.
