I provide outpatient services to children, teens, families and adults.
Life can be overwhelming. Therapy should be a place where the worries of each day are met with compassion, patience, and an optimistic spirit. Through a combination of CBT, DBT, behavioral modification, and solution focused therapy, I aim to help clients discover their best qualities, explore the barriers that impede their progress, and develop a plan to take practical steps toward making their goals a reality. If interested in TMS treatment for depression or OCD, scan the QR code below for a PHQ-10 assessment.

Life can be overwhelming in ways that leave you feeling not quite like yourself. Maybe things feel out of control, you’re worried about someone you love, or you’re stuck in patterns of low self-worth or difficult thoughts. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Therapy can be a place to sort through what’s going on, feel supported, and start to find your way forward.

One of the hardest parts of starting therapy is finding the right therapist. There are many therapeutic styles, and while therapy itself can be helpful, the right fit truly matters. You may be noticing patterns you want to change, feeling stuck in relationships, or sensing that surface-level solutions aren’t enough. If you’re wanting deeper understanding and meaningful change, finding a therapist whose approach aligns with you is an important first step.

Life can be overwhelming. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or simply trying to keep up with the demands of everyday life, asking for help can be the hardest step. You don’t have to have it all figured out to ask for help. You might be functioning on the outside, but inside, you're overwhelmed, anxious, or just plain tired. Therapy isn’t about being broken. It’s about being brave enough to say, “I need support.” There’s no shame in wanting to feel better, to understand yourself more deeply, or to find peace in the chaos. Therapy is a space where you can be real, be heard, and begin to heal — at your pace

Are you overwhelmed with current life circumstances? When you look at your life, do you see a history of pain, difficult relationships or a long search for purpose? As a trained Marriage and Family Therapist, I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families who have felt similarly. As a therapist, I believe that all of my clients have strengths and the ability to find joy, work through pain, and engage in fulfilling relationships. Sometimes it takes intentional guidance to help those things become realized, and that is okay.

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. This is a safe, welcoming space where your mental well-being is my top priority. I bring a caring spirit, a good sense of humor, and a strong intuition to every session, helping us create an environment where you feel comfortable and understood. These questions are just a starting point to help us dive in together, with a down-to-earth approach and lots of genuine support for whatever you’re facing.

You’re successful in many areas of your life—but your relationships don’t feel the way you want them to. You may feel reactive, disconnected, or stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand. I specialize in helping high-functioning adults uncover how unresolved past experiences are showing up in their current relationships. Using EMDR, we go beyond insight to create real, lasting change—so you can feel more in control, more connected, and more at ease.

We seek the guidance of a therapist for many reasons and each one is valid. Sometimes we just need a sounding board because we're feeling stuck; sometimes we're going through a life transition. Other times, a traumatic event has us overwhelmed and we can't separate our present from our future or past. Symptoms of depression and anxiety are manageable...until they're not. It's hard to reach out, but it is also the first big step of many towards healing. Let me help you keep the momentum going towards better health. The therapeutic relationship can be a great catalyst for lifelong relief.

FAQ - Teenage and Adolescent Therapists
What does therapy for teenagers look like?
When a therapist works with a teenager, the pair will talk about what the teen is struggling with and explore solutions, which may involve interpersonal skills, coping strategies, medication, or lifestyle changes related to sleep, diet, and exercise. Different therapists employ different modalities, but most involve a combination of conversation and skill building.

How long does therapy for teenagers generally take to work?
There’s variability in teenagers’ experiences and challenges; some may begin to improve from therapy within a few weeks while others may take several months or longer. Teens can discuss their progress with their therapist periodically to assess how they’re improving and any changes to the treatment plan that could potentially accelerate that progress.

How do you encourage a teenager to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love while framing therapy as an opportunity to explore a tool that could help improve their life; just like they practice baseball or dance, now they can practice their emotional skills. Give your teen control over the process where you can—maybe by weighing in on choice of therapist and signaling that therapy involves confidentiality, so a parent need not know all that is discussed in sessions.

How do you prepare teens for therapy?
You can prepare your teenager for therapy by describing what the process will look like and setting expectations for timeline, if requested. You can explain that the first session may begin with an assessment phase, that they can describe their experiences but that the therapist will ask questions too, and that it may take time to feel comfortable opening up. Ask how they’re feeling about the process and answer any questions calmly and supportively.
