Sometimes this overwhelmed feeling comes from the double-edged sword of a nervous system wired more sensitively (allowing you to be more sensitive to beauty, details, positive emotion, but also more vulnerable to shifts in anxiety and mood), and sometimes the overwhelm comes from traumatic experiences or too much everyday stress.
