I take pride in walking with clients at all stages of life: adolescence going through the journey of self-discovery, young adults navigating the challenges of creating your own identity, and adults experiencing the stages, challenges, and transitions life may throw at you. My overall drive is identify & implement ways to develop & enhance connections of BH/MH care, while de-stigmatizing the fears of receiving & seeking care in the comfort of my clients background. At the end of the day, we’re having a conversation, & I aim to create a safe & relaxed space, with the power of conversation utilizing the tools needed to succeed.

My therapeutic approach resembles the Japanese art form of Kintsugi in which broken pieces of pottery are mended together by precious metals, creating an equally or even more beautiful creation than it was in its original state. As a philosophy, if an object has been damaged then it has more of a history and should, therefore, be honored and highlighted, rather than hidden or discarded. Just as the broken sections are embraced in Kintsugi I believe that the broken, flawed, imperfect pieces of our life can come together with the good experiences, to form an even more amazing and beautiful life.

The pain of grief can be overwhelming and unbearable at times. The loss of a loved one is probably one of the most difficult situations that we will experience in life, especially if you are struggling with symptoms of complicated grief, such as intense feelings of guilt or responsibility, nightmares or disturbing images, or extreme emotional dysregulation that interferes with your daily functioning. Sometimes thoughts, images and emotions have us "stuck" in our grief journey, and we need help working through these issues...

Welcome! I’m Mary Bennett, a dedicated therapist specializing in helping individuals navigate codependency, relationship challenges, and trauma recovery. My passion lies in empowering motivated individuals who are ready to take charge of their lives and embark on a journey of transformation. What were the childhood messages you received growing up that have shaped you? What traumas did you witness that have led to distorted beliefs about yourself and others? Were you manipulated so often by others that you are scared to trust anyone? These are the kinds of questions I explore with my clients.
