Maybe you’ve tried to ‘hold it together’ for a long time and it’s just not working anymore. Therapy doesn’t have to be clinical or cold; it can be a space to exhale, reflect, and rediscover yourself. My style is down-to-earth, honest, and centered on helping you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface so real change can begin.

Challenges come in all different walks of life, shapes, and sizes. It's the universal one thing everyone must deal with. As a therapist, I try to help my clients develop the skills to be able to deal with whatever challenges they may face with courage, dignity, and the strength to know that eventually they will overcome these challenges. For many these challenges include debilitating depression, intense anxiety, fractured communication skills, trauma, substance abuse, or any combination of those. Although admitting the need and asking for help may be hard, the skills developed in therapy can definitely be worth it.

The best person you can get to know on this Earth is YOU. I would love to be there as you start that journey. No matter who you are, you deserve to have a loving relationship with yourself. You may struggle to love who you see in the mirror, or find it hard to be the "perfect" partner, or maybe you know you're capable of great personal growth. Whatever the life challenge may be, we can tackle it together.

I take an individualized approach in working with my clients by providing a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere where growth, self-exploration and positive change can occur. I strongly believe you have the skills needed to fulfill life goals and overcome challenges; but sometimes a guide is needed to address patterns of behaviors and problematic thinking that may serve as barriers. Therapy isn't just for moments of crisis—it’s about finding balance and thriving. In addition to individual counseling in North Carolina and South Carolina; I am also licensed to offer clinical supervision to associate counselors in North Carolina.
