I support women and families who are dealing with trauma, stress, anxiety, and the ups and downs of life transitions.
I’ve helped clients open up and face life’s challenges with honesty and courage. I create a genuine, informal space where you can show up as yourself and feel comfortable doing the work. I’ve supported women in connecting the dots—uncovering trauma, understanding their symptoms, and finding the strength to step out of survival mode.

Folks that may describe themselves as a cycle breakers or that have experienced trauma/upsetting experiences during their childhood and may be working on advocating for their boundaries in relationships.

The traditional head nodding, passive engagement, and ‘how does that make you feel?’ is a thing of the past. I enjoy actively supporting and challenging folks in their process of reflection, introspection, and growth. My approach is compassionate and direct. I work best with people who are asking questions, shifting relationships with themselves or others, and who are committed to showing up and/or learning more about their authentic, vulnerable, and values-focused self.

I work with people carrying the weight of trauma, shame, or painful past experiences.
Sometimes life feels, and is, harder than it looks from the outside. Old wounds show up in unexpected ways: through self-doubt, strained relationships, or just that sense of bracing yourself all the time. It’s exhausting, and even when things are “fine,” it can feel like you’re never fully at ease. Underneath it all is a desire for more steadiness, clarity, and a chance to actually enjoy life instead of just pushing through it. That's where therapy can make a difference. It can enable self trust and self worth that creates endless resilience.

I have an advocacy background in social justice, domestic violence and sexual trauma.
I use a strengths-based perspective to embrace the inherent messiness of working through struggle. I lean into cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) as strong tools to help clients develop new ways of thinking, change problem behaviors and build resiliency.

You are not what you feel. You are not even what you think. You are what you do. Acceptance & Commitment Therapy is about taking thoughts and feelings and using them for what they're supposed to be: data. They are merely to let us know how we're responding to our environment. It is up to our higher cognitions, our rational thoughts, to decide what to do with that information. My clients range from those with neurodevelopmental issues, mood disorders, and life adjustment events. The premise is the same in all cases: understand ourselves, what we feel and think, figure out WHY we think that way, and then decide what to do with it.

Life is not easy for any of us. You are bound to enter in to hard seasons or be forced to go back and visit difficult seasons from the past. When you can better understand yourself, your story, how you relate to others, and how life experiences have affected you, you will also be able to better navigate these hard seasons.

Many of our stories have been written with trauma, pain, depression, low self-worth and fear.
My path to healing through counseling began in 2012 after completing a missions trip in which I learned how many children & adults were filled with pain and trauma without access to ways to heal. Mentally their story had been written, their smile had been depleted and their pain was ever-present. I vowed to change and have not stopped trying ever since!

My approach is holistic, somatic, trauma-informed, and rooted in social justice.
Are you the eldest daughter or a parentified adult? On the outside, you’re high achieving, always showing up for others because you are dependable. But on the inside, you may feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. You might second-guess your needs and desires or struggle to slow down and rest. Maybe you’ve recently been diagnosed with ADHD and are trying to make sense of your experiences. Deep down, you’re ready to reconnect with your joy, heal your inner child, and live in a way that feels more grounded and compassionate.
