You should be embracing those uncomfortable feelings in
life
- it could be a sign that you are growing! Bloom where you are planted. I understand how overstimulating it can be to adapt and navigate stressful environments or
life
experiences. You deserve a safe space where you feel comfortable working through the fear or stress that you may be experiencing. Additionally, the ability to adapt to
life
’s inevitable changes is an invaluable skill to have and unfortunately it’s not a skill that comes naturally to many of us, especially young children. Please note — in office hours include M- Thurs 2PM - 7PM; Friday Virtual only 12pm- 5PM

My ideal client would be a teen or young adult trying to navigate
life
. They may bring to our sessions their need for acceptance and belonging, needing positive peer interactions, anxieties, and career exploration. We would develop goals together and establish what they want to get out of their therapy sessions. They come with a "want to change" attitude and are willing to put in the work. The goal is for my client to get a better understand of themselves and what is in their control and work on a better them.

My ideal client is one that has had weight problems and is looking for that "something else" to make permanent changes to their
life
. You have tried losing weight, you have been successful at losing weight only to have the weight sneak back on. You have tried a program or maybe even several programs, only to find yourself back at square one or worse then that, heavier then ever before. Most diet programs do not provide small educational steps that are maintainable and usable forever. nor help you gain insight into your true relationship with food, a critical necessity. That is where I come in.

I've spent my adult
life
helping others achieve their relationship goals.
Imagine waking up everyday inspired that you are loved and appreciated, deeply known and secure in your most important relationships. Imagine being fulfilled by knowing exactly how to show love to those same people. I love helping couples make their relationships great, from wherever they begin. I believe love is a verb by which we make strategic choices that are deeply rewarding and emotionally fulfilling. Built on attraction and attachment choices, love takes many forms but ultimately is our response to our deepest drives for meaning.

Whether it's basketball, football, or any other sport, being a student-athlete and having to balance homework, practice, and a social
life
can be extremely stressful for the player as well as his or her family. Some athletes may not know what choices they have, or what direction they want to go in. I specialize in helping families cope and thrive in the sports world's hectic environment. Through trained techniques I will help you find the most effective way to gain maximum results in sports, the classroom, at home, and in
life

You want to appear successful, like you have it “all together” but deep down are struggling to feel confident in who you are or cope with challenging experiences that have occurred in your
life
. You feel the pressure to be perfect all the time and you spend a lot of your time making sure everyone else is taken care of, but you some how neglect your own needs. Maybe you’re tired of stressing out, tearing yourself apart every time you mess up, or feeling like you’re about to crumble at any second. At this point, it may be hard to even remember when you didn't feel like this. But one thing is for sure, you’re ready for some relief.

I am convinced that very few people seek therapy. What they want is relief; that is, to feel better (less depressed, anxious or stuck), fix something (problems with a relationship whether love, family or at work) figure out something (solve a problem or make an important decision without the potential of regret) and/or just talk to someone who will let them speak their mind in a non-judgmental environment. Therapy or
coaching
is just how they get there. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you do or where, if you’re wanting to feel better, get to that next level or just get on with your
life

Life Coaching Therapists
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.
Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.
Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.
How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
