I enjoy working with people in all stages of life. One of my favorite parts of this profession is having the opportunity of spending time with people of various ethnicities, cultures, and backgrounds. I walk beside my clients as they face transitions in life. That may be the student starting graduate school or the person facing life after a loss, or a child dealing with her parent’s divorce. Sometimes we find ourselves in places we could not have imagined and need someone to offer us a hand to help us move forward.

Accepting New Clients – Life has a way of stretching us in directions we never expected. Even the strongest among us can find ourselves overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. When the pressure builds, it can change how we see ourselves and how we show up in the world. My role is to help you slow down, understand what’s getting in the way, and reconnect with the parts of you that are capable, resilient, and ready for change. Together, we’ll work to untangle the patterns that drain your energy, clarify what truly matters to you, and build a path toward living with intention rather than simply reacting to life’s demands.

I strive to create an environment where you can explore, engage, and rewrite your life-script. We all live from our own unique scripts, the stories we tell ourselves everyday about who we are, where we come from, and what we're capable of. Sometimes these scripts trap us in patterns that harm us and keep us from living a rich life. I will help you engage these scripts, whether they be anxiety, depression, addiction, relational issues, shame, or others. I work with everyone and anyone who desires to engage their story afresh regardless of background, but have unique training to incorporate Christian theology for those interested.

Using EMDR, Brainspotting, and IFS, I help clients gently explore underlying experiences, build emotional stability, and move toward lasting change.
My ideal client is someone ready to engage honestly in self-exploration and growth. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, seeking clarity, balance, and emotional control. They want a safe, nonjudgmental space to be their authentic selves while uncovering values and beliefs that shape their lives. Their goal is meaningful change—breaking free from limiting patterns and stepping into greater confidence and purpose. Therapy is their time to prioritize themselves, break out of old cycles, and break through to new possibilities.

I work best with adults who are navigating complexity—people who care deeply, often care for others, and may struggle to care for themselves. Many of the individuals I support are helpers, parents, postpartum moms, older adults, and those living with the impacts of trauma, binge eating, or bulimia. I view life as something we each walk through on our own path. It can be painful, confusing, and unpredictable—and at the same time, I believe deeply in the importance of creating pockets of safety, comfort, and meaning even when fear or uncertainty is present. As a therapist, I am warm and compassionate—with a touch of gentle sass.

Through EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), IFS, DBT and ACT/CBT, we slow things down, understand patterns, and help you reconnect with pleasure, closeness, and confidence (with yourself or your partner!).
If you’re looking for warmth, science-backed guidance, and a place where you can get insight without judgement. I'm here to help! I especially love supporting clients working through concerns around desire, pleasure, and sexual functioning; whether it’s mismatched libidos, sexual pain, difficulty with orgasm (or no orgasms!), erectile disfunction/difficulty keeping erections, kink or ENM/Poly exploration, or shifts in sexual connection. I’m also passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals and couples (including folks with ADHD) to strengthen emotional and sexual intimacy in ways that fit their lives and their brains.

I'm trained in Somatic and Attachment Based EMDR, and also draw from inner child work, IFS, mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and CBT.
Do you find it hard to love or accept certain parts of yourself? Maybe you want to step outside your comfort zone, but the fear of rejection or not being “enough” holds you back. Or perhaps you feel stuck in relationship patterns that leave you confused or unfulfilled. How we relate to ourselves and others is often shaped by our environment and earlier life experiences—especially when our basic needs for love, connection, or safety weren’t fully met. I support adults who are navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, low self-worth, and relationship challenges, to feel more connected, grounded, and less defined by the past.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.

How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.

Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.

How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
