As an out lesbian, I enjoy working with queer clients, especially clients who don’t want therapy to focus on their identity or sexuality, but need a therapist that understands how those realities impact their daily life.
My clients come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed or lost. They feel like something is wrong with them. They want to figure out how to function better and feel like they belong in the world and in their relationships. They experience anxiety, people-pleasing, or intense feelings of responsibility. Some suffer from "Eldest Daughter syndrome." Many have experienced spiritual wounds that complicate their sense of self and ability to trust. My clients are also often other helping professionals or therapists. Visit my website to learn more.

I am LGBT-identified, and affirming/welcoming of all identities.
Your story is important. We all give meaning to our own experiences, and sometimes our attempts to "make sense of it all" leave us feeling hopeless, inadequate, confused, lost, or angry. The "reasons" we act or feel the way we do are not always clear, and it can take a little digging to get to the root of things. The negative thoughts and feelings that exist within us can become draining and exhausting when we don't know what to do with them. Sometimes, because of the way we feel about ourselves, we struggle to feel secure in our own identity. As a therapist, I am interested in your story - as you see it through your own lens.

If you feel stuck and like you can't find the path forward, know that you don't have to take the next steps alone. It can be overwhelming to find yourself or your child caught in a pattern of intense emotions that makes navigating the stress of each day feel like too much to handle. It may feel like the cycle of anxiety, frustration, and exhaustion will never end. You may feel unsure how to wake up each morning and take steps towards growing your relationships and achieving your goals. Therapy can provide a safe space to process these common feelings of uncertainty and develop a path towards peace and balance.

My approach is eclectic, creative, LGBTQIA+ affirming, HAES, and collaborative.
I believe our bodies can hold our hurt and guide our healing, and I work from that context—helping you release tension in mind, body, and spirit through trauma-informed techniques. We’ll move through this as a team, exploring what therapeutic methods (DBT, CBT, EMDR, ACT, EFT, IFS, Polyvagal Somatic Therapy) work best for you.

I work to help individuals cope with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, life transitions, ADHD, LGBTQIA issues, divorce and/or separation, addiction and recovery, and trauma.
I believe life is full of seasons—times of joy, struggle, growth, and change—and we’re all just doing our best to find our way through them. I know what it feels like to question yourself, to feel stuck, or to wonder if you’re heading in the right direction. I’ve also learned that having someone in your corner—someone who listens without judgment and helps you see yourself more clearly—can make all the difference.
For me, this work isn’t just about “therapy.” It’s about connection. I value honesty, humor, and compassion. And I feel honored any time I get to walk alongside someone as they uncover those parts of themselves.

Many people silently wrestle with anxiety, self-doubt, and emotional exhaustion—often
believing they have to “hold it all together” without ever feeling seen. It’s common to feel overwhelmed by life’s demands while quietly craving clarity, peace, and deeper self-
understanding.

You’re the reliable one. The person everyone leans on to get things done.
You show up for others, consistently putting their needs before your own. You anticipate their feelings, smooth over conflicts, and sacrifice your own comfort to keep the peace. You give and give and give, hoping that someday, someone will finally see your exhaustion and give back.
But at the end of the day, you're left feeling anxious, drained, resentful, and invisible, wondering when it's going to be time to take care of you. And you may even have problems in your relationships or turn to some unhealthy habits to temporarily soothe the pain.
