Welcome! You’re the one everyone relies on. You show up, perform, and handle it all but inside, you’re exhausted and constantly overthinking. Your mind rarely slows down, and even rest feels unproductive. You may be navigating career pressure, carrying unhealed trauma, relationship stress, or major life changes while silently carrying the weight of it all. You don’t have to keep functioning in survival mode. Therapy can be a space where you finally exhale, feel supported, and learn how to manage anxiety without losing yourself in the process.

Your relationship with your significant other is one of the most important parts of your life. Many expectations and hopes are placed on this one relationship. You chose this person for a reason. Many couples reach a point in their relationship where romantic love changes into a power struggle. Whenever a new life stressor appears the old polarizing arguments resurface. The mistake most couples make is assuming recurring themes in arguments are to be expected and endured, or that the only way out of this relentless arguing is to break-up. You can create a conscious, passionate relationship and change arguments into connection.

I was a moody little menace as a teen - therapy was the only place I didn’t roll my eyes.
It was the first time I felt truly understood, and it flipped a switch in me. Fast forward: now I’m the one creating that safe, validating space for others (minus the teen angst… usually).
Whether you’re dealing with low self-esteem, relationship chaos, big feelings, or just trying to survive a life plot twist - I got you! I use a mix of CBT, DBT, ACT, and good old-fashioned human connection. Because let’s be honest, none of that therapy jargon matters if you don’t feel like your therapist gets you.

Family Therapy Therapists
What do family therapists do?
A family therapist facilitates the process of understanding and improving how a family functions. The therapist will help family members develop empathy for one another. They’ll seek to understand existing patterns, misunderstandings, and conflicts that arise, in order to help the family arrive at a realistic, unified understanding and develop the coping skills they need to build stronger relationships.
How long does therapy for families take to work?
Therapy manifests differently in every family; a common time frame is 12 weekly sessions, but some families may see improvement after just a few weeks. Families should discuss their goals with the therapist at the beginning of the process and periodically revisit those goals to assess their progress together.
How can you encourage a family member to attend family therapy?
You can encourage family members to attend therapy by expressing with both love and concern the challenges you see and explaining how a therapist could help the family navigate those challenges together. An outside perspective can help everyone feel heard, get on the same page, and develop new skills. If family members are still hesitant, it may be helpful to emphasize that family therapy is short-term—it won’t last forever.
Is therapy for families effective?
Family therapy can significantly improve family dynamics and relationships. Research suggests that family therapy can help individuals understand their role in the family, communicate and solve problems together, reduce conflict and draw boundaries when necessary, and develop coping skills for stressors, major life changes, and mental or physical illnesses within the family.
