You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from counseling. Perhaps you're navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, abuse, or church hurt — or you're doing well and want to grow in self-understanding and strengthen your relationships. My clients want more than symptom relief; they seek care for the whole person. I welcome clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, and as a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, I also offer premarital counseling. It would be an honor to hear your story and walk alongside you. Together, we'll clarify your goals, build on your strengths, and move at a pace that feels right — not just coping, but overcoming.

Are you the eldest daughter or a parentified adult? On the outside, you’re high achieving, always showing up for others because you are dependable. But on the inside, you may feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. You might second-guess your needs and desires or struggle to slow down and rest. Maybe you’ve recently been diagnosed with ADHD and are trying to make sense of your experiences. Deep down, you’re ready to reconnect with your joy, heal your inner child, and live in a way that feels more grounded and compassionate.

I approach therapy with a person centered, systemic, and trauma-informed lens, understanding that we are impacted by all aspects of our environment, relationships, and experiences. I place value in the therapeutic relationship cultivated, so I will always offer a safe place to explore your feelings, actions, and decisions without having to minimize or justify. I respect that that is a sacred space and it is never lost on me that I have the privilege of walking with individuals through some of their most challenging and vulnerable moments.

My approach includes Brainspotting, nervous system regulation, and other somatic, mind-body methods that help access and shift patterns that talking alone often doesn’t reach.
I offer support for trauma, chronic stress, and neurodivergent nervous system. Sessions are paced and collaborative, with attention to safety, regulation, and what feels manageable for your system. While we prioritize steadiness and consent with your pace, this kind of work can also allow for meaningful shifts as deeper nervous system patterns reorganize

My work centers on somatic psychotherapy, using Brainspotting and Polyvagal-informed techniques to help process unresolved emotional experiences and regulate the nervous system.
I am accepting new clients in NC, SC, and PA. You may be someone others see as strong, successful, and composed. Internally, you feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted, carrying the weight of your career, relationships, and family while still showing up for everyone else. High-functioning doesn't mean you're not hurting. Often the people who seem the most capable are the ones who've learned to survive without asking for help.

Experiencing ongoing, underlying anger? Having difficulty concentrating at times? Or problems sleeping? Overly anxious or feeling depressed? Or, is life a bit overwhelming at this time? If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, know I understand that living life with these issues saps your joy, making it hard to move forward. As a dance/movement therapist, I use movement to provide a physical dimension to traditional “talk” therapies. Dance therapy allows clients to embody their thoughts and feelings, as well as to practice “walking-through” potential solutions.

Through an integrative approach that weaves together Brainspotting, parts work, and somatic practices, we focus on regulating the nervous system, building clear boundaries, and helping you reconnect with who you truly are.
Do you feel constantly overwhelmed by racing thoughts, tension in your body, and the pressure to keep everything together? Many of the women I work with struggle with anxiety, people-pleasing, and exhaustion from trying to meet everyone else’s needs while ignoring their own. You may notice racing thoughts that won't slow down, difficulty sleeping, or your body feels constantly on edge. Maybe you’ve tried therapy before, yet something still feels stuck. That’s not a failure. Often it means your body is holding onto stress or past experiences that talking alone can’t fully resolve.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
