You're not sick or broken. What's broken is a world that normalizes abuse, discrimination, and unrealistic standards. Most of my clients come to therapy thinking there's something wrong with them for feeling sad, scared, angry, and disconnected, when in reality, these feelings are natural, nonpathological reactions to difficult situations. While we can't control what happened in the past or even some of what's going on around us now, what we can learn is new ways of responding to stress and thinking about ourselves and our circumstances.

Things aren't going as you'd hoped or planned. You're strong, doing your best, and holding it together. But things may be falling apart. Maybe it feels like YOU are starting to fall apart at times. You feel stressed. Disconnected. Overwhelmed. Uncertain. Perhaps you're at a transition point in life and wondering how exactly you ended up here. Maybe it is due to a loss of a relationship, the loss of hope of what could or should be, or the death of a loved one. Or perhaps there isn't a clear reason.

I work with adults and adolescents navigating eating disorders, self-esteem, and embodiment issues, and with individuals and couples seeking sex and relationship therapy. My practice is rooted in inclusivity and social justice, especially for those exploring nonmonogamy, kink dynamics, or who identify as queer or neurodivergent.
