I am a person-centered, strengths-based therapist. Much of the traditional therapeutic process focuses on understanding the source of our pain and seeing how that pain creates patterns in our behavior that limit us. I certainly do that with my clients, but I also look for the behavior patterns that serve my clients as strengths that they’ve earned, strengths that they can use to live the lives that they choose for themselves. That’s because I know what it is to hurt until I thought I was going to break, but I also know what it is to find strength in those moments to move my life and my relationships to a better place.

As we partner together to find real-life solutions to real-world problems, we begin with the conviction that with God's help, we can find healing and restoration. As a Christian counselor with more than twenty years of experience, I have found that Christian counseling is not only unique, but also facilitates an excellent therapeutic outcome for the client. When applicable, we will apply Biblical principles during the process of counseling. When appropriate I will be blessed to pray for you during our session. Combined with sound therapeutic techniques, Christian counseling has proven to help people experience healing.

I see therapy as healing through understanding. Understanding of your hopes and how to bolster and nourish them, your suffering and how to be with or relieve it. I strive to listen holistically, with humility, and to provide a nonjudgmental space in which the layers of your identity and life contexts can be safely explored. My clinical thinking is psychodynamically-based and is also informed by my background in the arts and my practices in meditation and yoga.

Hello! My name is Erin Beverly Foerster and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I specialize in treating adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma. As a young child, Lisette knew that she was called to "help others." Therefore, she decided to pursue something in the human service field. She graduated in 2004, with her BS in psychology from University of North Carolina at Pembroke. In 2009, she received her MSW from Fayetteville State University. Lisette believes that "Understanding the human spirit is the most important aspect to helping others." Building a therapeutic relationship with your client is a must! Empowerment is a major role that both client and therapist must display. If you believe in yourself, others will believe in you as well. That energy is undeniable!
